Our projects have included oil rigs off the coast of Brazil to the South China Sea. We are working on a new project for a large HF1000.1 Heinkel inverting filter centrifuge going in to Hydrabad, India.

Automation
Our primary role is the automation of OEM machines such as centrifuge/dryers and automation of systems such as Port/Starboard control, MEG recovery, and ESD in oil and gas. We make use of PLC/DCS, HMI/SCADA, RIO and have experience with all major suppliers including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Emerson, P+F, PILZ, etc. Please call or mail to discuss your automation requirements.
Process Optimisation & Scale Up
With over twenty years of experience in pharma and oil and gas sectors, we are very happy to assist with process design and maximize productivity. Our filter cloth offering and recipe optimization have helped many clients to better machine use and yield improvement. Project Management
Execution of projects to schedule and to budget is key to ensuring our customer's objectives are fulfilled and they are entirely satisfied. At Gemini Control, we develop a Gantt chart for all projects, identifying all the tasks and milestones that are crucial to project success. Filters
We design and supply filter cloths for Heinkel Inverting Filter Centrifuges. Every Heinkel is different as is every product. The filter cloth is crucial to optimizing the machine. The right material, right construction (O ring, drawstring, warp, weft, multi, mono), right for slurry and wash, right for screen and rings, right for intermediates or finished goods, bespoke to the Heinkel condition; all play an important part in ensuring the right cloth is fitted. Validation
All our projects are executed within a GAMP and cGMP framework. Validation and a life cycle approach are very important to the Life Sciences sector and Gemini Control are highly experienced at executing projects within this environment. Fabrication
Gemini design and build control system cabinets to facilitate the automation needed of OEM and customer requirements. This includes the Drive, PLC, and LOP enclosures. In addition, we also design and fabricate bespoke equipment to make processes as efficient and safe as possible. These range from solids disconnects to full discharge handling systems. As New!!!
Gemini have been supplying fully refurbished machines – “As New” – since 2013. We offer these machines with an as new warranty and every part of the machine is refurbished to ensure the best possible value. The customer receives a fully FATed machine, as new, for usually 50% or less of the cost of a new machine. Further, the machine is delivered in approximately 50% less time than a new machine ordered from the OEM.
Thus, ordering from Gemini is simply the most efficient way in which any customer can sources a new machine at half the cost and half the time, satisfying both budgetary and schedule constraints at the same time! A win-win which we have demonstrated time and time again for our customers.

Dow - Heinkel Complete Refurbishment.
Heinkel Complete Refurbishment. 2 off HF800 (one hydraulic and one all electric) . New controls, motors, instruments, PLC panel, HMI panel, code and functionality. Additional design to accomodate Netter hammers to assist with any product hang up on discharge and limit oppotunity for bridging.
2 Controls - 6 Machines - 2 Streams- 1 Country - Turkmenistan.
This project consisted of developing two control system to control 6 off Broadbent Series E basket centrifuges in two streams for a customer based in Turkmenistan. Gemini have always worked on international projects from Brazil to South China Sea and this was anoer example of our global reach from our base in Europe.
Lianhetech LC900 Project Heinkel Centrifuge - Value £1.5m
We were chosen by Lianhetech to be the supplier of their preferred centrifuge - the inverting filter Heinkel HF800. Gemini Control have many years experience of sourcing, refurbishing and commissioning Heinkel machines.

Gemini Control was established by Michael Hill on returning to the U.K. from Ireland in 2005. The original company was started in 1998 in Cobh, Co. Cork. The catalyst in the beginning was a need for Heinkel centrifuge expertise with a multi disciplinary approach (control, process, mechanical) for the rapidly expanding pharma industry. We still offer that same service to this day but have expanded to include all types of centrifuges, decanters and dryers along with many other OEM machinery and into other sectors including oil and gas, aggregrates, precious metals and specialst dyes.
Gemini Control offer a full control system product for both Ex and Safe Area, GAMP and non-GAMP projects. This inlcludes the hardware, PLC/DCS software, HMI/SCADA configuration, design documentation and acceptance test protocols. We can also assist in recipe optimisation and we have designed and sold filter cloths for 20 years. In addition to these core services we also can supply fully refurbished machines with warranty for contract pharma and non pharma applications.
