The project consisted of two off HF800 machines in Hastelloy and two in stainless. We delivered all four on schedule and to budget. Each machine received a full mechanical refurbishment coupled with complete new instruments and motors. We then completed the work with new: controls, drives, HMI, purge and LOP.

On delivery of the final machine Lee Kingsbury,

General Manager of Lianhetech Seal Sands said

"Fantastic performance from Gemini again".

This was on top of the previous comments when we supplied two HF800s on the Dow Expansion back in 2014.

Looking back at the 6 years of production Mr. Kingsbury remarked

"The Gemini supplied heinkels have been without question, exceptional"

Lianhetech have been fantastic. Flexible and innovative as we had to develop new methods when Covid-19 hit. The exapnasion has been truly remarkable and Gemini Control hope to win future projects with such a foward thinking business.

Original Haynes Hastelloy HC22 machine. Hydraulic axial movement. The fundamentals of the Heinkel were sound but as is the case with any refurbishment some items were needed beyond the normal overhaul:

- Large inspection hatch (door) in the solids housing to be filled and ground smooth

- New sight glasses

- New maintenance cover plates

- Repair "run in" sealing surface and turn down to allow use of a bush

- Cut, weld and grind solids housing crack with air re-circ pipe

- Damaged cyclone with large dent to be repaired.

Stainless steel heinkel. This heinkel appeared in reasonable condition but beyond the normal additional refurb items post full disassembly it was found to have a coating on the shaft which had deteriorated. We decided not to risk a new coating and went for a full reoplacement shaft. Likewise for the first time in over 20 years we found the bowl insert had some cracks around the distribution bars. GCAL sourced a replacement bowl insert and brought from the USA to Germany for installtion. Other items included:

-New sight glass

-Repair to air re-circ pipe and fabricate new cyclone cover

- New pipe and housing bolts - fabricate

- Repair and grind clamping ring.
